Disco balls, blue afro wig, neon coloured costumes brightened up the underground as the boys of Kyō Sunday Best danced to the best of the DJ spinning 54ish: The Hedonistic Party.
Every Sunday, this club located at the underground of 133 Cecil Street transform with larger than life characters. Last week paid tribune to Studio 54, the world renowned nightclub which operated from 1977 to till 1981. At 12.30am the stage light shone, the disco music played as performers sang and dance to the tune of yesteryears.
True to its nature of hedonism, the boys party like there is no tomorrow, without the worry of Monday.
There were even two “go-go” dancers to entertain the patrons as the crowd party on.
Even the bartenders and floor staff were having a good time that night.
And more fooling around in the back-of-the-house.
Strap on your wings, put on your tiara and bring your Prince Charming (or find one there) this Sunday and join the boys for a fairy tale themed party on 12 May, with fund-raising proceeds going to Baan Gerda, a children’s charity for HIV positive orphans in Thailand.
